Design Specialist-Facilities
The person in this position will be proficient and up to date in all building and ADA codes. They will also establish and implement space and furniture standards to ensure functional, efficient and professional work environments for our customers. You will provide recommendations and coordination of organizational evaluations, processes and training procedures. You must be able to work positively with your customer and be willing to listen to their needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design field branch office layout, using AutoCAD.

• Discuss and review plans with external and internal customers, via conference calls.

• Review existing processes and work instructions to improve customer satisfaction.

• Recommend design related products or services by continually researching, analyzing and evaluating product information.

• Travel throughout the U.S. to do site inspections so that the facilities meet Kelly Services requirements (Less than 2%).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent.

• Five years experience in Project Management, Commercial Interior Design or Architecture and facility/construction management required.

• Proficient in Access, Excel and Word

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Working knowledge of systems furniture, preferably Haworth
