The Michigan Chapter of the International Interior Design Association's 5th FINISH2FASHION Event was a huge success thanks to all that attended, sponsored and participated! 20 teams took the runway on September 30, 2010 at the Royal Oak Music Theatre [ROMT] in Royal Oak, MI. Doors opened at 6 pm for networking over drinks and appetizers and the models took the runway at 7pm.

This event blurred the line between fashion and interior design with the theme “Cities Around the World”. Design teams and manufacturer sponsors created one-of-a-kind outfits made solely from interior finish materials. The results were out-of-this world! The event this year was a fundraiser for the Michigan Chapter of IIDA [visit www.michiganiida.org], with silent auction items benefitting the IIDA Foundation [visit http://www.iida.org/content.cfm/foundation].  The event featured emcees, Cheryl Durst, FIIDA, LEED AP, Executive Vice President and CEO of IIDA and Dennis Krause, IIDA, Senior Vice President of IIDA. They entertained the audience with their wit and professional style. The event was a huge success featuring rocking music, great food and entertainment.
